Well the weekend has come and gone and Marie has returned home from her weekend away and I have been thinking about all the things I have learned from this weekend. The weekend did go exactly as I planned however the kids and I had lots of fun and on Saturday night Emma want to my mom’s for a sleep over (Thanks Mom!! XOXO) therefore the boys and I really cut loose. We stayed up until midnight watching Maple Leafs hockey and Toronto FC soccer, which was lots of fun!!!! Below I have compiled a list of things I learned through this experience.
I learned that ...
1. The boys and I still put the toilet seat down when the girls are away.
2. Without a female presence around, the house is eerily quiet at times.
3. I can do some things very well but without my life partner the things I do not so well end up really, really bad.
4. Left to my own devices I played way to much World of Warcraft in lieu of sleep.
5. I missed my love very much and felt very lost at times.
6. I know that when she goes away again, the kids and I will survive (maybe)!!!

awwww!!!! I knew you missed me and I learned a few things too.....the seat is put down eventhough I am not there to make sure it is, you boys can survive and even tidy the house when I am away so when I get home I smile instead of frown, that you will always enjoy your WOW even when I AM home ;0), and last but certainly not least I missed YOU as much as you missed ME! Love you XOXOXOXOXXO
