A Challenge

I must start with a confession, I am a huge nerd and as such the TV plays a big part of my life. I love to watch DVDs or catch the latest Sci-Fi show on satellite especially when I feel so busy that I just want to crash at the end of the week and veg.

However, it is when I am so busy that time with my children and wife become so much more vitaly important. I should be playing a game with my kids or going sledding or helping them with homework or doing something other than satisfying my inner geek.

So I have been challenging myself lately to say no to me more and yes to my family more. I must admit that most days I fail miserably and it is definitely not easy but it is so worth it and I fill so much more fulfilled on the days that do go right.
